If you’re invested in it don’t give up, there’s also plenty better than me. All comes down to understanding the fundamentals of lighting first. Study that as well as some good examples of the shading style such as Mike Mignola (Hellboy), Imaishi’s early works (Dead Leaves, Oval x Over), and shows like Black Dynamite

Here’s a lighter note. In the Eltingville comic, Josh the keeper of Sifi, is upset with not having one card to complete the Batman trading cards that are only in Wonder Bread. He goes into a supermarket and starts opening bags of it in the store. He gets caught and his friends doesn't help him out. He gets grounded from seeing the new Batman movie. And then one of his friends found the card he was looking for and didn't give it to him. WHY DIDN’T WONDER BREAD BEEN KNOWN FOR THAT?
Still, I’ll never eat Wonder Bread.
