Anyway, I got hooked on the characters, mainly Slushi.
She's like that one friend whose contagious joyful disposition rubs off on all present.
And like a big-sis to other characters.
Watching the show, yes, I like it. Maybe some neurons here and there had to burn to make that happen! Maybe cute aggression was suppose to happen instead of the sugar-high?
However, I feel Chikn Nuggit is spread thin over the tiktok-slice-of-life format, not even a proper episode guide out for it.
...and don't get me started on the disappointing ending of the Chikn demigod arc.
Hell, even "Chikn Nuggit Parody Show" has more substance(longer episodes and more writing).
But it's my love of the characters and WANTING to like the show more that's keeping me onboard.
Take My Little Pony for example. I tried watching a few episodes, but I couldn't like it.
Fanart/fanfiction on the other hand... the WANTING fans built much better things on top of the show. My Little Dashie, Princess Trollestia, Story of the Blanks, coughrapetrainseriescough, etc.
Another example, Animal Crossing. The games are a daily chore simulator, technically.
But the player will put his own imagination on top of the characters and world, filling in the blanks.
It's the fandom that makes the show worth it much more than its base value.
And even your hate-art gets to be a contribution to the show's universe.
